Roof Repairs
Prompt, lasting repairs to storm damage, missing tiles, cracked leadwork, and leaking felt — carried out by Legacy Roofing's Wokingham team across Berkshire and London.
A damaged roof rarely announces itself at a convenient moment. Whether a tile has shifted in overnight winds, a lead flashing has lifted around a chimney stack, or a slow drip has found its way through an ageing felt underlayer, the damage compounds quickly once water gets in.
Legacy Roofing responds promptly to repair requests across Berkshire and into London. We carry out a thorough inspection first — identifying not just the visible point of failure but any neighbouring weak spots that are likely to follow. There is little point patching one slate if the three tiles alongside it are already loose.
Our repairs are carried out to last. We use materials that match the existing roof — whether that means natural slate, machine-made concrete tiles, clay plain tiles, or interlocking profiles — so the repaired section beds in properly with the rest of the covering. Ridge and hip mortar is raked out and re-bedded rather than topped over. Lead details are cut and dressed to the correct code rather than filled with sealant.
After the repair, Steve and the team take a moment to talk you through what was found and what was done. If there are other areas that will need attention in the near future, we will point them out — no hard sell, just an honest picture so you can plan ahead rather than wait for the next leak.

Roof Repairs — Common Questions
We aim to assess urgent jobs as quickly as possible. Contact us directly on 07707460710 and Steve will advise on availability.
In most cases, yes. We carry a range of common profiles and have trade accounts with suppliers who stock period and reclaimed tiles. We will advise if a match is not achievable before any work begins.
Not necessarily — we can carry out most external repairs with access to the roof only. We will always confirm arrangements with you beforehand.
This depends on who supplied and installed your original roof covering. We are happy to advise, and we can provide written confirmation of the work carried out for your records.
