Flat roofs account for a significant proportion of the roofing work across Berkshire's post-war housing stock and the bay windows and back-additions of London's Victorian and Edwardian terraces. When they work well they are largely invisible; when they fail, the water ingress can travel considerable distances from the original point of entry before it becomes apparent.

We assess the existing deck condition before recommending a system. A new membrane laid over a soft or damp deck will fail prematurely — we will tell you honestly if the deck needs replacing rather than simply overcoating a problem. Falls are critical too: a flat roof that ponds water is working against itself. Where we find inadequate drainage we address it as part of the installation.
All systems we install are detailed correctly at upstands, pipe penetrations, and where the roof meets a vertical wall — these junction points are where flat roofs most commonly fail, and they deserve as much attention as the main deck.
