Legacy Roofing is a Wokingham-based roofing contractor covering Berkshire and into London. The business is run by Steve, who manages every project personally — from the initial survey and quote through to completion and handover.
Steve set up Legacy Roofing to offer the kind of roofing service that is increasingly hard to find: a contractor who surveys the roof properly, gives an honest assessment of what it actually needs, uses the right materials for the property and the application, and carries the work out to a standard he is prepared to stand behind.
The business covers the full spectrum of roofing work — emergency repairs, full re-roofing, flat roof installation, leadwork, chimney repairs, ridge tile maintenance, guttering, and fascia and soffit replacement. Legacy Roofing works on properties across Berkshire and London, from post-war New Town housing in Bracknell and Sandhurst to Victorian terraces in Reading's inner suburbs, Edwardian semis in Earley and Woodley, period properties in Wargrave and Ascot, and the Victorian and Edwardian terrace housing of Hounslow, Richmond, and Ealing.
The coverage area reflects the range of Steve's experience — different property types, different roofing materials, and different planning contexts all require different approaches. A concrete interlocking tile re-roof on a Bracknell estate semi is a different project from a natural slate re-roof on a listed property in Wargrave's conservation area, and both are different again from a lead valley gutter repair on an Edwardian terrace in Earley. Legacy Roofing handles all of them.
