Roofing in Windsor

Local conditions

Windsor has one of the most diverse and historically sensitive roofscapes in Berkshire. The streets of Georgian and Victorian terraced housing in the town centre and in Clewer, Dedworth, and the older neighbourhoods around the Guildhall are managed by a conservation area covering much of the historic core. Natural slate, clay plain tile, leadwork, and lime mortar pointing are required in many settings; some properties are listed. The post-war residential development on the western edges of the town carries standard concrete tile. Legacy Roofing is familiar with both contexts and works across Windsor and the surrounding parishes.
